Spoke to him to day to get a better understanding of where it was going . Apparently the "feed thing" is not a case of re directing , but more copying what gets picked up on search engines from our website and the forum, and copying them into his website, if I understand correctly this means type in KAR 98 for example and you'll get the forum, our website and his , not just his website. TBH the hit rate on the webiste is not an issue , it's fuckers who want ot come and play in the woods that counts for me . If his website attracts new people to events or to the forum , the mechanism is not important . He was adamant it wasn't about bringing this place to a gentle close , I'll go with that for now . He also said it wasn't being set up per se as a commercial venture , although might consider paid advertising in the future . He's going to lift some of the stuff from our website....the kit guides he wrote etc and move them onto the new website , not particularly arsed about this , it's his IP at the end of the day, and none of us plan of doing web design as a hobby. Pictures of Gadge looking like a twonk are better off elsewhere IMHO ] I think we ought to make clear though that pics from our events are ok as long as they are identifed as CiA events. Looks like Gunman is cosying up big style as he can smell the chance for more "bums on seats" ( eurgh I almost feel sorry for CW), I wouldn't like that cock getting financial benefit from pictures of our events. Equally as we have put on more events and for longer than anyone else, having no representation at all would be a lil silly. Lets see what gets posted up . Finally as it looks like we won't get back control of the CiA forum , I suggested he might consider discussing with us the idea of renaming it. don't know how you guys feel about this, but with the top five posters being David, Yith, Gadge, Steiner and only Stephen from us, there's a part of me that says let em call it something else , then at least all the stuff they post isn't assumed by new people to be "the word of CiA" . WW2 Arsoft Community Forum would give a nice acronym Your thoughts appreciated.

thanks for the clear and unequivocal statement re the forum our website and the new portal. Personally my concerns of this week are allayed. New one's next week for now please leave this hidden forum for up to use. Depending on where we intend to go post schaulen we will let you know if is is no longer needed. as to worrying about links let the poor man build it first if only announced it yesterday lol
